Allison Pao joined the Rennie Center this February with experience in education research, advocacy and policy work, and curriculum design. Outside of her work for the Rennie Center, Allison also does advocacy and policy work for Generation Citizen and research and curriculum design for the Democratic Knowledge Project. Currently a first-semester senior at Harvard College, Allison is concentrating in Social Studies and writing her thesis about civics education in Massachusetts. As an aspiring educator, she hopes to make an impact through teaching, advocacy, or research. After graduation, she plans to teach middle or high school social studies.
