2021 Condition of Education in the Commonwealth

Virtual

COVID-19 has drastically reshaped the way our students learn and exacerbated the inequities that already plagued our schools and society. Our education system is at a crossroads. The conversation about where our system is and where it’s headed is more important than ever. So while the pandemic will kept us from meeting in person for our annual our Condition of Education in the Commonwealth event, gathered virtually on January 28 for a critical discussion on the state of learning in this unprecedented time.

Watch the recording below to hear from educators and state leaders on and how we can build on the lessons of the past year to chart a new vision for the future. You'll also hear about the latest data on the impact of COVID on students as well as holistic learning, community engagement, and career pathways. And we discuss our Condition of Education Action Guide which looks at the critical connection between schools and communities.
