Our Team

Janessa recently earned her Ed.M. from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education, focusing on data analysis and research to inform decision-making. She is passionate about improving educational outcomes for students by helping leaders turn research and evidence into meaningful action.

Prior to joining Rennie, Janessa was mentored by former U.S. Secretaries of Education during her graduate studies, researching state accountability systems and how local districts use data to inform policy and practice. As a Fulbright Scholar, she completed a fellowship as an English Teaching Assistant in the Czech Republic. While earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, she studied in Rome, Italy, and interned as an English Teaching Assistant. These experiences deepened her global perspective and strengthened her commitment to U.S. education and student success.
