Intern

Ashley joined the Rennie Center in January 2023 as a graduate research intern. She is current pursuing a Master in Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School, concentrating in social and urban policy. Prior to graduate school, Ashley spent 4+ years working in social policy research at the Urban Institute and Mathematica, where she contributed to federal and philanthropic research evaluations related to education, labor, and human services. During graduate school, Ashley narrowed her focus to workforce development and served as a research fellow at Harvard’s Project on Workforce, an infrastructure workforce policy research assistant at the Markle Foundation, and a corporate strategy intern at Guild Education (a career mobility tech start up). This internship at the Rennie Center allows Ashley to exercise her research skills and draw relationships between the education and workforce subject areas. Ashley is from Portland, Oregon and completed her B.A. in Sociology from Swarthmore College.
